Write to inbox@tcot.org and a person here reads it. We answer most letters within two working days, and we answer the awkward ones too.

The most useful letter gives us four numbers from a garment you already like: the chest measured flat, the body length, the sleeve and the shoulder. With those we can tell you which size to take, and when the honest answer is that nothing on our shelves is cut the way you need.

We cannot help with an order once it is placed. Ordering, payment, delivery and returns all happen at checkout with our retail partner, and their customer service holds the details we never see.

If a piece you want does not exist, tell us anyway. A cardigan with pockets deep enough for a phone began as somebody's letter, and so did the rain trousers.
